The penalty shot was made by Abel Torres, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mouratos's Alexandre Delgado. 0-1. If Daniel Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandre Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Nunes scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Delgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mouratos's Alexandre Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Nunes in the 26th minute of play. Daniel Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute of the match Alfredo Nunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Delgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, SC Freixieira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Simões to maneuver through the defense. João Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Gomes in the 44th minute of play. Miguel Simões struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alexandre Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Freixieira.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Gomes made a kick off. 56 minutes in the game, Mário Nunes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alexandre Delgado having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Augusto Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Freixieira's Filipe Nascimento got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Rui Matias, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal.
