Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sebastião Coelho's late challenge caught a Carqueijal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. SC Eidos's Jorge Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Fonseca in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, SC Eidos's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Fonseca came free, but Jorge Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If João Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Raul Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jorge Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Júlio Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Armando Ramos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Oliveira during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raul Oliveira hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. João Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jorge Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Carqueijal FC booed when SC Eidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Júlio Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Eidos and the Carqueijal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Júlio Martins hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. João Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Jorge Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Barros in the 52nd minute. Júlio Martins was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to SC Eidos getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Júlio Martins hit a great ball. Carlos Amorim was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bernardo Veiga took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basílio Cruz. Basílio Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 70th minute, Júlio Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, SC Eidos's goalkeeper Jorge Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Barros. João Barross short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Jorge Macedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Barros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Macedo came out and tried to block the shot, but João Barros slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 93rd minute. SC Eidos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
