Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Duarte Fonseca got the match started through his kick off. André Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Fonseca in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to SC Torno getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cândido Carneiro hit a great ball. Duarte Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, João Lisboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Torno and the Carqueijal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, SC Torno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. João Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. André Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute João Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Torno's zone, João Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Ferro came out of the goal and João Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Duarte Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Luís Branco made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Luís Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Branco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Cruz having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Carqueijal FC's zone, Luís Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Cruz came out of the goal and Luís Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Amadeu Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. André Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carqueijal FC. João Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. André Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luís Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Torno's Luís Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carqueijal FC's Duarte Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Ferro made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Barros in the 94th minute. Luís Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Basílio Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Torno fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carqueijal FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
