Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gonçalo Leão made the kick off which started today's match. Américo Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Aguiar having to make a save. Carlos Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Calhetas FC's Simão Branco got a free kick in the 13th minute. When SC Vinheiros's Bento Sá in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calhetas FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 played minutes Calhetas FC got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Santarém. With a little luck, SC Vinheiros's Paulo Aleixo got control of the ball when Vítor Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Leão in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Aleixo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vinheiros's zone, Gonçalo Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Aleixo came out of the goal and Gonçalo Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, SC Vinheiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match, Vítor Dantas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Aleixo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39th minute, Vítor Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bento Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Carlos Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SC Vinheiros were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Gonçalo Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Aleixo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Branco in the 58th minute of play forced SC Vinheiros's goalkeeper Paulo Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Viriato Aleixo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Vinheiros's protests and gave Viriato Aleixo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Vinheiros's Viriato Aleixo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Calhetas FC's André Guarda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Vinheiros. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Vinheiros's goalkeeper Paulo Aleixo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Guarda's late challenge caught a SC Vinheiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Guarda helped the player get up and apologised. André Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cristóvão Torres, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Delfim Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Aleixo having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, SC Vinheiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Martins to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Carlos Martins's late challenge caught a Calhetas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Martins helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Aleixo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Leão's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Leão in the 84th minute of play forced SC Vinheiros's goalkeeper Paulo Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Vinheiros had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
