Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Assunção started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. SC Meruge's Adolfo Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 10 minutes, Pedro Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almacinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Pires struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Paulo Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Meruge. Pedro Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Simão Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Pedro Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Figueiredo having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Almacinha's Pedro Assunção sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almacinha's goalkeeper Paulo Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Setúbal during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Meruge getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Miguel Setúbal hit a great ball. In the 49th minute of the match Bernardo Guerreiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simão Figueiredo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Leão made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Almacinha's José Dias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SC Meruge getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. João Valente hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Rui Soares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Meruge's Simão Figueiredo didn't even have to move. José Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, João Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by José Borba from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Simão Figueiredo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice moves José Dias could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Simão Figueiredo however easily saved by the left post. Paulo Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Paulo Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Meruge's Simão Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Assunção in the 84th minute of play. If Pedro Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Simão Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Dias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Simão Figueiredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Dias might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Dias ran back to his position shaking his head. Almacinha played a much better game than SC Meruge and deserved their victory. The SC Meruge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
