Ricardo Ramos's late challenge caught a SC Curvos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. SC Curvos's Amadeu Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Neves in the 13th minute of play. If Luís Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Devesas's Pedro Bessa got a free kick in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amadeu Reis. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Luís Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Reis having to interfere. If Luís Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fábio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Curvos booed when SC Devesas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Devesas's Joaquim Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Pinheiro in the 48th minute of play. The wind increased when Cândido Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. SC Curvos's Amadeu Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Neves in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Castro in the 55th minute of play forced SC Curvos's goalkeeper Amadeu Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, SC Devesas's goalkeeper Joaquim Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder Pinheiro. In the 60th minute, Hélder Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Joaquim Melo. SC Devesas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cândido Gonçalves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Joaquim Melo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Neves took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Reis. Amadeu Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cândido Gonçalves in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SC Curvos's zone, Ricardo Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Reis came out of the goal and Ricardo Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Curvos's Amadeu Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Castro in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Luís Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Devesas's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When José Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Curvos's protests and gave José Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Reis having to interfere. Amadeu Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Curvos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Devesas.
