After some careless play in the Queijada defense, Marco Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Coimbra. The Queijada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Coimbra should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Marco Rocha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manuel Coimbra, passed just outside the right post. The attack was good, but when Carlos Luz in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rafael Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Paredes was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Rafael Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queijada's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Gomes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Artur Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Rafael Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Gomes having to interfere. Rafael Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alexandre Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Queijada players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
