Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filipe Simões took the kick off in the first half of the match. Miguel Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Américo Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Miguel Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Resende having to interfere. Gonçalo Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rabalde FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armindo Santarém was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Apilata's players had a chance to rest. The corner led SC Apilata's Armindo Santarém to fire away a dangerous shot which Gonçalo Resende despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jorge Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Gonçalo Resende when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mário Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Rocha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonçalo Resende came out and tried to block the shot, but Mário Rocha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute, Jorge Baptista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Manuel Pinto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Jorge Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Mário Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Apilata's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Resende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Rabalde FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vicente Mendes hit a great ball. Jorge Baptista spun around in front of the goal 47 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Rabalde FC's goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Brás hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Rabalde FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Assis. When Miguel Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Rabalde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Leiria couldn't finish the play. Miguel Leiria in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Américo Assis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorge Baptista took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonçalo Resende. Gonçalo Resende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sérgio Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Resende having to interfere. Manuel Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Resende having to interfere. Gonçalo Resende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Apilata's Américo Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Simões in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Miguel Leiria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Américo Assis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 95 minutes, Filipe Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabalde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
