Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Sousa started the match with the kick off. If Domingos Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Brito's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Rui Matias charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Matias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Penilhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Matias to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes, SC Argeriz's Jorge Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Melo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Argeriz reached it. The supporters of Penilhos FC booed when SC Argeriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bruno Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penilhos FC's protests and gave Bruno Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, Penilhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Aguiar came free, but Carlos Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of SC Argeriz booed when Penilhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Jorge Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Melo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Sousa in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Sousa in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but André Torres made a huge save. Adolfo Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Argeriz getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Adolfo Bessa hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Penilhos FC's Domingos Brito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Torres. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. André Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bruno Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of André Torres. SC Argeriz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Bruno Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. André Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Domingos Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, SC Argeriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Sousa struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Carlos Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Argeriz. Carlos Melo was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Pedro Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. André Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Penilhos FC's Domingos Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Ferreira in the 79th minute of play forced SC Argeriz's goalkeeper André Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Carlos Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Xavier Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After recieving a nice pass, SC Argeriz's Pedro Sousa tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Argeriz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Penilhos FC.
