In the 14th match minute, Milreu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Gonçalo Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milreu FC and the Fazenda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when José Brito made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Armindo Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milreu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, José Brito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cândido Torres. The goal made the score 0-2.
