Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Freitas got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes SC Algares got a freekick which was hit by Raul Pires. In the 7th minute, Daniel Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th play minute Cláudio Correia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Machado. 1-0. Gustavo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Moreira having to interfere. When Daniel Silva came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the SC Barrinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Silva couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Moreira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Freitas in the 26th minute of play forced SC Barrinho's goalkeeper Carlos Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Simão Henriques shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Moreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, SC Algares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. David Araújo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Filipe Silva hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alfredo Freitas sped through SC Barrinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Machado. Eusébio Gueifão charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Gueifão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Algares's Eusébio Gueifão got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to SC Algares getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Delfim Maia hit a great ball. Gustavo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Abel Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Daniel Silva had several of the SC Algares's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Abel Moreira as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Correia in the 68th minute of play forced SC Barrinho's goalkeeper Carlos Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gustavo Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Gomes in the 72nd minute of play forced SC Algares's goalkeeper Abel Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Moreira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Gomes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 76 minute of play. After 83 minutes SC Barrinho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filipe Coimbra who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Filipe Coimbra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Machado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cláudio Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Machado having to interfere. Carlos Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Freitas in the 87th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Moreira was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 95 played minutes SC Barrinho got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Cabral. 97 minutes into the match, SC Barrinho's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Coimbra came free, but Carlos Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Simão Henriques in the 98th minute really tested Abel Moreira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
