Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when André Figueiredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Botica FC's Joaquim Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílcar Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Bento Henriques made a huge save. Luís Mendes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bento Henriques firmly grabbed it by the left post. Botica FC's Bento Henriques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Botica FC from getting a goal against them. Tomás Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Miranda having to interfere. The supporters of Botica FC booed when SC Chas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomás Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tomás Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílcar Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Melo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amílcar Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Joaquim Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílcar Miranda. SC Chas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If André Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Botica FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Melo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SC Chas getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joaquim Henriques hit a great ball. Tomás Costa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 53rd playminute. When Joaquim Melo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Botica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Melo couldn't finish the play. Fernando Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Sérgio Domingues hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jaime Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amílcar Miranda. SC Chas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernando Rodrigues hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Amílcar Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Mário Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botica FC's protests and gave Mário Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Botica FC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Paiva. André Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, SC Chas's Amílcar Miranda got control of the ball when Tomás Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Miranda having to interfere. Joaquim Melo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amílcar Miranda having to make a save. When Adolfo Costa fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Chas's protests and gave Adolfo Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, SC Chas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Costa to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Botica FC's Jaime Gomes tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luís Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
