Alexandre Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Botica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Fernandes came free, but Bento Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bento Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Assis in the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Assis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bento Henriques was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 27 played minutes Botica FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Morais. João Paiva hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Joaquim Melo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 32nd play minutes Joaquim Melo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by André Azevedo and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Melo in the 36th minute of play forced Tresouras's goalkeeper André Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Costa in the 38th minute. Alexandre Assis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Joaquim Melo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for André Azevedo to make any attempt to save it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bento Henriques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute, Sérgio Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, Tresouras's Alexandre Assis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bento Henriques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 64th minute, Mário Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Tresouras's Alexandre Assis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bento Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Gil Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Botica FC's Bento Henriques got control of the ball when Gil Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gil Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bento Henriques made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Paiva during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Alexandre Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Botica FC's zone, Alexandre Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Henriques came out of the goal and Alexandre Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tomás Costa came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Botica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Costa couldn't finish the play. Tomás Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute Botica FC were awarded a corner. Jaime Gomes went to the cornerflag to take it. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tresouras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Gomes was slow to take the kick. During this time Botica FC's players had a chance to rest.
