Rafael Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jaime Torres hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lucas Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Américo Pereira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Amaro in the 27th minute of play forced SC Lubazim's goalkeeper Rafael Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Lubazim getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jorge Pacheco hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Lubazim's Augusto Coelho got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Carnapata FC's Cristóvão Barbosa in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lubazim's goalie prevented a goal. After 36 minutes, Lucas Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnapata FC and the SC Lubazim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Carnapata FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Cardoso. After having played for 38 minutes, Lucas Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lubazim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Vasco Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lubazim's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Augusto Coelho sped through Carnapata FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Américo Pereira. In the 47th minute, SC Lubazim's Vasco Lima dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gil Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, SC Lubazim's Vasco Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Américo Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 66 minutes, Rafael Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnapata FC and the SC Lubazim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carnapata FC's Rafael Ramos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lucas Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Américo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Amaro got free with Rafael Vaz in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Lubazim's Delfim Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Lucas Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carnapata FC's Américo Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Rocha in the 92nd minute of play. Gil Amaro in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
