In the 13th minute of the match Paulo Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Figueiredo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Viriato Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Álvaro Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Mind's protests and gave Álvaro Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. Álvaro Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, João Simões sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Mind's Vítor Pacheco didn't even have to move. In the 24th minute, Álvaro Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 25 minutes, Alfredo Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lamelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Duarte Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Rocha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience cheered when João Simões's long shot passed Vítor Pacheco's right side. It was 1-0, 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Duarte Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vítor Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Silva made a kick off. Carlos Figueiredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Álvaro Amaral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, SC Mind's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Rocha came free, but Vítor Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Sousa scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Pacheco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Alfredo Rocha put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vítor Pacheco. After a defensive mix-up in Lamelas FC's zone, Álvaro Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Figueiredo came out of the goal and Álvaro Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alfredo Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lamelas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duarte Moraiss short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Carlos Figueiredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Alfredo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lamelas FC had won after a very even match.
