In the 7th minute Joaquim Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, SC Cadouco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Bugalhao's Joaquim Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Rafael Leiria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bugalhao. When Bugalhao's Joaquim Guerreiro in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cadouco's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute, David Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Santarém got free with Rafael Leiria in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Bugalhao's goal looked a bit too open when David Costa came free, but Jacinto Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joaquim Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Guerreiro made a kick off. If David Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bugalhao's Jacinto Antunes got control of the ball when Carlos Jesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Joaquim Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jacinto Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Joaquim Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Cadouco's Rafael Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Lopes in the 72nd minute of the match. Gil Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Gil Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Bugalhao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, David Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacinto Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, SC Cadouco's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Guerreiro came free, but Rafael Leiria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Jesus in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto Antunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joaquim Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Bugalhao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Cadouco's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Cadouco.
