Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eduardo Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Xavier Cabral put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquim Coimbra. Afonso Correia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquim Coimbra came out and tried to block the shot, but Afonso Correia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 6th minute. Xavier Cabral hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Adolfo Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With splendid footwork Xavier Cabral arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-0 by the left pole in the game's 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Grammas's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Cabral came free, but Joaquim Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Adolfo Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Balazar's Afonso Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Balazar's Afonso Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Leal in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Xavier Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Balazar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Gueifão hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Adolfo Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grammas's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Afonso Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Coimbra having to interfere. Afonso Correia struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Joaquim Coimbra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Balazar. Joaquim Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Cabral in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Balazar booed when Grammas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Xavier Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Leal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Afonso Fonseca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 minutes SC Balazar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Borba who took care of the corner kick. Xavier Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Joaquim Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Coimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Correia's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. When Adolfo Leal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Afonso Fonseca was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 83 played minutes SC Balazar got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Anjos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Leal got free with Afonso Fonseca in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Afonso Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Adolfo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
