Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Mendes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gaspar Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freiao's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of SC Matanca booed when Freiao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, SC Matanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Santarém to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Sandro Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Freiao fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Freiao's Gaspar Matos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaspar Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Matanca getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Albertino Lopes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Matanca's zone, Sandro Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Brás came out of the goal and Sandro Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Sandro Mendes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuel Brás. Sandro Mendes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Gaspar Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Emanuel Brás made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Ribeiro made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Matanca's zone, Gaspar Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Brás came out of the goal and Gaspar Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 52 minutes into the match, SC Matanca's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Mendes came free, but Emanuel Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Matanca getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Albertino Lopes hit a great ball. Sandro Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Brás having to interfere. Emanuel Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Mendes in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Gaspar Matos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of SC Matanca's Emanuel Brás. Emanuel Brás was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandro Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Brás having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, SC Matanca's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Mendes came free, but Emanuel Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Santarém hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Gaspar Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Artur Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Gonçalves came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Matanca's Xavier Bessa. But to his dismay, Xavier Bessa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Gaspar Matos notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of SC Matanca's Emanuel Brás. Emanuel Brás was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the game, Freiao's Rui Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Brás made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Xavier Bessa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th match minute, SC Matanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Brás having to make a save. Freiao's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
