Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xavier Aguiar kicked off to start the match. Xavier Aguiar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Mafomedes FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mafomedes FC's Tomás Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Almeida hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Tomás Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Antunes having to interfere. If Tomás Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, SC Varziela's goalkeeper Rodrigo Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Borges. When Xavier Aguiar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodrigo Antunes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tomás Borges succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 35th playminute. SC Varziela's Rodrigo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Aguiar in the 39th minute of play. Tomás Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Rodrigo Antunes made a huge save. Xavier Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Borges got free with Rodrigo Antunes in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

In the 53rd minute, Gaspar Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Varziela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Gaspar Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Pereira having to interfere. Tomás Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. If Francisco Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mafomedes FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Francisco Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lúcio Pereira having to make a save. Gaspar Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lúcio Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Aguiar in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes SC Varziela got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Costa. 91 minutes into the match, SC Varziela's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Aguiar came free, but Rodrigo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Figueiredo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Pereira. Lúcio Pereira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 96th minute Francisco Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of SC Varziela were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Mafomedes FC side.
