Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Faria kicked off to start the match. SC Varziela's Rodrigo Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save SC Varziela from getting a goal against them. After having played for 8 minutes, Rafael Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bengado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Varziela's zone, Basílio Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Antunes came out of the goal and Basílio Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Rafael Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Bengado got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Costa. After recieving a nice pass, SC Varziela's João Setúbal tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Bengado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Varziela were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Brás made a kick off. Rodrigo Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Francisco Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rafael Brás came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Bengado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Brás couldn't finish the play. André Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rafael Brás sped through SC Varziela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Antunes. The audience was convinced that Francisco Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Azevedo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Gaspar Figueiredo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Azevedo. The goal made the score 1-2. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Gaspar Figueiredo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Manuel Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Faria in the 93rd minute of the match. If Francisco Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Azevedo stood somewhat misplaced when Gaspar Figueiredo came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 94 minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Varziela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
