Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armindo Tavares kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Pesqueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Henriques to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the game, Delfim Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pesqueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sacavem the free kick. Delfim Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. SC Sacavem's António Dantas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pesqueiro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Neves during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes SC Sacavem got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Neves. João Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pinho having to interfere. Joaquim Maia came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Sacavem's Carlos Gaspar. But to his dismay, Carlos Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Jesus in the 26th minute of play forced SC Sacavem's goalkeeper Paulo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute João Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, SC Sacavem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sacavem's zone, Gustavo Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Pinho came out of the goal and Gustavo Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pesqueiro booed when SC Sacavem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luís Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Jesus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Pesqueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Amaral to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Emílio Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pesqueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sacavem the free kick. In the 60th minute, Emílio Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Sacavem's Paulo Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SC Sacavem from getting a goal against them. After 70 minutes of play SC Sacavem's Xavier Neves was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Armindo Tavares struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Joaquim Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sacavem. After 79 minutes, Domingos Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pesqueiro and the SC Sacavem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Pesqueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Carlos Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Maia was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. SC Sacavem's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gustavo Jesus 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The supporters of SC Sacavem booed when Pesqueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Gaspar took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Maia. Joaquim Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Sacavem fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pesqueiro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
