Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Matias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nuno Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Esteves in the 3rd minute of play. Daniel Matias might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Matias ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Daniel Matias notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Malhadouro's Nuno Pinheiro. Nuno Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Catarino Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Malhadouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Catarino Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Aleixo in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Civado getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. João Mota hit a great ball. Sebastião Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. André Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Malhadouro. Paulo Moura hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Daniel Matias scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Civado's André Cabral got control of the ball when Catarino Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Aleixo in the 38th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Aleixo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Aleixo in the 61st minute of play forced Civado's goalkeeper André Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Aleixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. SC Malhadouro's Catarino Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastião Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Catarino Reis during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Malhadouro getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sebastião Aleixo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Matias in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Pinheiro saved SC Malhadouro from getting behind. André Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Malhadouro booed when Civado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Cabral having to interfere. The SC Malhadouro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Civado's performance. The match ended with a win for Civado.
