A collision led to Peixeninho getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cristóvão Gomes hit a great ball. The supporters of Peixeninho booed when Adaufe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Ramos got free with André Almeida in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, David Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute of the match Cristóvão Ferro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peixeninho's zone, Manuel Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Assunção came out of the goal and Manuel Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game David Paredes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peixeninho's Eduardo Assunção was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristóvão Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Viriato Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Almeida having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Gueifão in the 32nd minute of play forced Peixeninho's goalkeeper Eduardo Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. André Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peixeninho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Adaufe's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Gomes came free, but André Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Cristóvão Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Adaufe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Peixeninho were the better team. Peixeninho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
