The referee ignored Carmanchao FC's protests and gave Francisco Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Jorge Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Guerreiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Ricardo Tavares lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 13th minute, one of Carmanchao FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carmanchao FC. When Mário Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmanchao FC's protests and gave Mário Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. Carmanchao FC's Artur Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jorge Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pedro Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Reis to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Jorge Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Jorge Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carmanchao FC's Lucas Guerreiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lucas Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Paulo Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmanchao FC and the Servo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Carmanchao FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Paulo Assunção hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Neves in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Guerreiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lucas Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Servo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
