Afonso Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Teixeira having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Artur Reis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gil Teixeira, 1-0. Emílio Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Guerreiro having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Castro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Guerreiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Afonso Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Guerreiro having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SC Antela's Emílio Rocha got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Lucas Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Castro in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Afonso Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gil Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Rodrigues in the 74th minute of play forced SC Antela's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Lopes couldn't finish the play. Paulo Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Guerreiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Paulo Castro sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
