The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carnicais's Amílcar Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Porto in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Delgado in the 82nd minute of play forced Foz FC's goalkeeper Bruno Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Neto took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Brito. Bruno Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 95 played minutes Foz FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Santarém. Sérgio Andrade was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
