An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Maia in the 19th minute of play forced Foz FC's goalkeeper Bruno Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foz FC's Cláudio Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Maia in the 30th minute of play. Bruno Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Alves during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ajude FC's David Alves got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cláudio Azevedo succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Cláudio Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Azevedo made a kick off. Ajude FC's Bruno Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ajude FC from getting a goal against them. David Alves hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Alexandre Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Azevedo in the 90th minute of the match. Alexandre Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Coelho having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Ajude FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Azevedo came free, but Bruno Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ajude FC had won after a very even match.
