Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Óscar Morais got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Manuel Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílcar Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amílcar Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Óscar Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Óscar Morais in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Azevedo saved Espinho from getting behind. Cláudio Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Terlamonte FC's Vicente Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Óscar Morais came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Terlamonte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Morais couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Amaro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Terlamonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Amaro to maneuver through the defense. Terlamonte FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Xavier Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Amílcar Valente, making the score, 1-0. In the 32nd minute Xavier Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Macedo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílcar Valente. Amílcar Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 36th minute, Inácio Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Inácio Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Almeida in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílcar Valente saved Terlamonte FC from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Amílcar Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Bernardo Amaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cláudio Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Terlamonte FC's zone, Xavier Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílcar Valente came out of the goal and Xavier Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Óscar Morais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espinho's Cláudio Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Espinho's Manuel Barros got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th match minute, Terlamonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Azevedo having to interfere. Vicente Cunhas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Cláudio Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Vicente Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Morais in the 92nd minute of play. Terlamonte FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
