Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Dias made the kick off which started today's match. Abel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Espinho's Xavier Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Alexandre Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Dias in the 32nd minute of the match. Cláudio Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fábio Moniz sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Espinho's Emanuel Ribeiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fábio Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Azevedo having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavier Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fábio Moniz scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes, Pedro Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Espozade and the Espinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Pedro Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Espinho getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Inácio Macedo hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Xavier Almeida took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Abel Torres to make any attempt to save it. Manuel Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, SC Espozade's goalkeeper Abel Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Macedo. After 75 minutes, André Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Espozade and the Espinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Espinho booed when SC Espozade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Azevedo having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Espinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Rocha to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Espozade fully deserved thier win.
