Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Xavier Gaspar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Salineiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Resende. Adelino Alves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cláudio Viegas. Vasco Pacheco might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vasco Pacheco ran back to his position shaking his head. Adelino Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Dias in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Emílio Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Moutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Xavier Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Salineiras FC's Pedro Dias in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trute FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rodrigo Dias's late challenge caught a Trute FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Dias helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Trute FC booed when Salineiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Vasco Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salineiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Dias made a kick off. With a little luck, Salineiras FC's Filipe Moutinho got control of the ball when Manuel Coimbra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Trute FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Dias came free, but Adelino Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Dias struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Adelino Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salineiras FC. 58 minutes into the game, Vasco Pacheco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adelino Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, André Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Adelino Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Dias in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Xavier Gaspar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Filipe Moutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vasco Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Moutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Coimbra in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Trute FC's Manuel Coimbra got a free kick in the 88th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Salineiras FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
