Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Dias kicked off to start the match. Salineiras FC's Vasco Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If António Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Joaquim Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipe Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Trindade in the 21st minute of the match. Pedro Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Frossos's Sebastião Aleixo got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Afonso Torres put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frossos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 42nd minute of the game, Sebastião Aleixo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Pedro Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Afonso Coelho made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Vasco Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. Vasco Pacheco scored 0-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Frossos's goalkeeper Joaquim Setúbal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Pacheco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Dias in the 63rd minute of play forced Frossos's goalkeeper Joaquim Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes Frossos got a freekick which was hit by António Ferreira. Vasco Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Salineiras FC's Pedro Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vasco Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Salineiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Pacheco couldn't finish the play. Frossos's Joaquim Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Resende in the 91st minute of play. Joaquim Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Afonso Coelho struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Filipe Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frossos. Salineiras FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
