After a rather tough play, Rebordosa FC's André Nogueira got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Adelino Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Belece's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Adelino Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Belece's Bernardo Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Coimbra in the 13th minute of play. Bernardo Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Albertino Coimbra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Setúbal. SC Belece's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertino Coimbra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cláudio Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Lisboa having to interfere. Gustavo Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Almeida in the 44th minute of play. Rebordosa FC's Gustavo Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Resende in the 46th minute of play. Bernardo Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Coimbra in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Adelino Almeida made the kick off in the second half. António Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bernardo Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Coimbra in the 54th minute of play forced SC Belece's goalkeeper Bernardo Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Vasco Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Belece's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rebordosa FC the free kick. Bernardo Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Coimbra in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Rebordosa FC got a freekick which was hit by António Ramos. 59 minutes into the match, Rebordosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Almeida came free, but Gustavo Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Belece's Adelino Almeida suffered a sore thigh after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sebastião Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Sebastião Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, SC Belece's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Coimbra came free, but Bernardo Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cláudio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes, Rebordosa FC's Manuel Marques shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Setúbal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rebordosa FC reached it. In the 78th minute, Manuel Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, André Nogueira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Belece's Bernardo Setúbal. Bernardo Setúbal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Albertino Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Cláudio Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Lisboa. Rebordosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Daniel Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Domingos Paiva hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
