Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Viana got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Lomba FC's goalkeeper Cândido Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Cabral. Cândido Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Vicente Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazaro's Jorge Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Leiria in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Borba struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jorge Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomba FC. Lomba FC's Daniel Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lomba FC's André Leiria in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lazaro's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Borba in the 33rd minute of play forced Lazaro's goalkeeper Jorge Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lazaro's Catarino Dantas got a free kick in the 38th minute. With an all-out effort, Lazaro's Cândido Moura threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Viana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sebastião Pereira's late challenge caught a Lazaro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastião Pereira hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Cândido Moura had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Álvaro Vaz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Daniel Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Amaral's late challenge caught a Lazaro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. Eduardo Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, André Leiria fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jorge Azevedo, passed just outside the right post. If Daniel Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
