Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Moreira having to interfere. Casevel's Eduardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Coelho in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Casevel's Joel Vieira got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 29th minute, Gil Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ermelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rui Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Vieira in the 34th minute. If Paulo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Paulo Pereira sped through Ermelo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rui Pinheiro. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Aguiar's late challenge caught a Casevel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. If Paulo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Casevel getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luís Carvalho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Vieira in the 73rd minute of play forced Ermelo's goalkeeper Rui Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Casevel got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Leite. In the 80th minute of the match Lourenço Fontes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Moreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pereira in the 82nd minute of play forced Ermelo's goalkeeper Rui Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Joel Vieira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Pinheiro. Ermelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Vieira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
