Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Mataduco's Joaquim Jesus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, SC Mataduco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Marco Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Catarino Viana. SC Mataduco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Joaquim Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Jesus in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Nunes saved Troias from getting behind. Adolfo Almeida's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gonçalo Nunes firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute, Ricardo Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Miguel Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Viana having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Troias's zone, Adolfo Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Nunes came out of the goal and Adolfo Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Filipe Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Mataduco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Troias the free kick. 41 minutes into the match, Troias's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Jesus came free, but Gonçalo Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Adolfo Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Mataduco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the SC Mataduco defense, Miguel Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Catarino Viana. The SC Mataduco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Catarino Viana should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Troias's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Almeida came free, but Gonçalo Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Miguel Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Troias's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Almeida came free, but Gonçalo Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Almeida couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catarino Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Coimbra went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
