Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastião Moreira started the match with the kick off. Sebastião Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rodrigo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If António Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Filipe Faro fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casadela FC's protests and gave Filipe Faro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Casadela FC's Filipe Faro got a free kick in the 9th minute. Filipe Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rodrigo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Paulo Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casadela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borreles FC the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Casadela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Antunes lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 21st minute, one of Borreles FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borreles FC. Filipe Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rodrigo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Sousa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bernardo Carneiro's late challenge caught a Borreles FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Casadela FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borreles FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Borreles FC's Pedro Matias got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Viriato Mota. 1-3 became the score in the 44th minute when Filipe Faro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Filipe Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Nascimento made a kick off. Casadela FC's Sebastião Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Filipe Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borreles FC's Rodrigo Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Moreira in the 77th minute of play. Fernando Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Mota having to interfere. Filipe Faro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Valente made a huge save. Rodrigo Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Casadela FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
