After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Filipe Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casadela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Santos having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Filipe Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Assento FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Melo. Basílio Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Moreira went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Sebastião Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Assento FC's goalkeeper Basílio Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Mota having to interfere. Sebastião Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Basílio Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Emanuel Matias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Mota. Casadela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Matias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
