Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vítor Pereira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Sagolga's Augusto Nogueira got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Álvaro Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertino Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Amílcar Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Cláudio Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcoutim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Sagolga's Basílio Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Guarda in the 19th minute of play. Gustavo Lisboa succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Vítor Pereira struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Albertino Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sagolga. Cristiano Moniz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Alcoutim FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Aleixo. When Amílcar Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SC Sagolga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Delgado couldn't finish the play. Amílcar Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertino Matos having to make a save. João Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, one of SC Sagolga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Sagolga. Albertino Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Valente having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cláudio Guarda to make the kick off. Basílio Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Aleixo in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alcoutim FC's zone, Amílcar Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Matos came out of the goal and Amílcar Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Guarda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Valente having to make a save. When Alcoutim FC's Gustavo Lisboa in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Sagolga's goalie prevented a goal. If Amílcar Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes SC Sagolga got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Machado. In the 68th minute of the match Marco Nunes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Valente skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Guarda in the 73rd minute of play forced SC Sagolga's goalkeeper Basílio Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Gustavo Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Humberto Gueifão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Valente skillfully saved the ball. Cláudio Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Valente having to interfere. Vítor Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
