Lucas Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cândido Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Aricera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Leão came free, but Cândido Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fontes in the 14th minute of play forced Aricera FC's goalkeeper Cândido Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Morais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Queirós went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the game, Alberto Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saldonha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aricera FC the free kick. After 29 played minutes Saldonha FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Cruz. In the 31st minute André Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lucas Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aricera FC's André Carneiro in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saldonha FC's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Aricera FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carlos Anjos hit a great ball. If Lucas Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Carlos Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aricera FC's Cândido Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Aricera FC's goalkeeper Cândido Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Leão. A collision led to Saldonha FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lucas Leão hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Carneiro in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Morais saved Saldonha FC from getting behind. In the 67th minute, André Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If André Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Aricera FC's André Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carlos Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Queirós struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sandro Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aricera FC. Saldonha FC's Sandro Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Carneiro in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Carneiro in the 95th minute of play forced Saldonha FC's goalkeeper Sandro Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aricera FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saldonha FC for a fine match.
