Duarte Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Cunha's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Cadouco FC's Paulo Cunha in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Carritos's goalie prevented a goal. Albertino Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 33 minutes into the match, SC Carritos's Abel Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Albertino Henriques made a huge save. In the 40thth minute of the game Abel Delgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cadouco FC's Albertino Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Moura having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Delgado to strike the kick off in the second half. David Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte Moura having to make a save. Albertino Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Delgado in the 57th minute of play. Duarte Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Cunha's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. David Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte Moura having to make a save. With a little luck, SC Carritos's Duarte Moura got control of the ball when Eusébio Ferro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duarte Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Paulo Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes SC Carritos got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Castro. After 82 minutes SC Carritos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rui Machado who took care of the corner kick. Cadouco FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
