Pedro Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gabriel Soares made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Vidoedo FC's Pedro Vale got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th match minute, Vidoedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Vale to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Pedro Macedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. David Morais took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Coimbra. Filipe Coimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Américo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Filipe Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mário Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Fontes made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Vidoedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Viana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Fontes in the 54th minute of play forced Vidoedo FC's goalkeeper Filipe Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Casteleiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Macedo came free, but Gabriel Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casteleiro FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Casteleiro FC's Américo Fontes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filipe Coimbra. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. Filipe Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when David Morais sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Pedro Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Coimbra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Miranda in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Mário Faria sped through Casteleiro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Soares. After some careless play in the Casteleiro FC defense, Pedro Macedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Soares. The Casteleiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Soares should have stopped the shot. When Pedro Vale fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vidoedo FC's protests and gave Pedro Vale a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Casteleiro FC booed when Vidoedo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casteleiro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
