Joel Tavares's late challenge caught a Lagarelhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Alves was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lagarelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Vale came free, but Miguel Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes SC Mossanto got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Santarém. In the 93rd minute of the match, António Moura got a very nice opportunity to score, but António Correia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Lagarelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Vale came free, but Miguel Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Mossanto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
