The referee showed Armindo Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Lima's late challenge caught a SC Meinedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Prazeres FC's Fábio Lima got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Alexandre Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prazeres FC's Óscar Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Sá in the 18th minute of play. Óscar Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Óscar Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Sá in the 25th minute of the match. Lucas Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Rocha having to interfere. Vítor Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Lima got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to SC Meinedo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Armindo Andrade hit a great ball. With a little luck, SC Meinedo's Tiago Cruz got control of the ball when Paulo Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Meinedo's Basílio Freitas got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Meinedo's zone, Paulo Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Cruz came out of the goal and Paulo Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Paulo Vaz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiago Cruz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to SC Meinedo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Artur Aguiar hit a great ball. After 54 played minutes Prazeres FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Henriques. After 58 minutes, Cristiano Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Meinedo and the Prazeres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, SC Meinedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Lopes to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Sebastião Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Alexandre Coimbra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prazeres FC and the SC Meinedo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Óscar Rocha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vítor Alves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Vítor Alves took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Óscar Rocha to make any attempt to save it. If Paulo Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SC Meinedo defense, Paulo Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Cruz. The SC Meinedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Cruz should have stopped the shot.
