Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lúcio Cabral made the kick off in the second half. Vilarouco's Bruno Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vilarouco from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Lúcio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lúcio Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Borba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
