Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alfeloas's Alexandre Almeida started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Marco Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cristiano Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfeloas's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Paredes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Campos having to interfere. SC Luso's Luís Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SC Luso from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Alexandre Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfeloas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, SC Luso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Paredes struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Luís Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfeloas. When Alexandre Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Alfeloas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Almeida couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Rodrigues to make the kick off. Cristiano Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Campos. SC Luso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luís Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Paredes in the 72nd minute of the match. Cristiano Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Luís Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Campos having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in SC Luso's zone, Cristiano Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Campos came out of the goal and Cristiano Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Almeida in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. SC Luso's Luís Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Rocha in the 87th minute of play. Luís Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Campos having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Cristiano Paredes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luís Campos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, Alfeloas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
