In the 3rd minute, Hugo Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute of the match Afonso Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Santarém showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Louroza booed when Travanca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to SC Louroza getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Hugo Henriques hit a great ball. Adelino Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Adelino Gaspar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Afonso Santarém was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 26th minute Adelino Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Travanca FC booed when SC Louroza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Carlos Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Aleixo in the 32nd minute of the match. Cristiano Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Santarém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Oliveira Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Santarém having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Carlos Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Oliveira. Travanca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Ferreira to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Hélder Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Louroza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Travanca FC the free kick. Hélder Tavares hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Afonso Santarém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliveira Sousa's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Oliveira Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Afonso Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliveira Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Santarém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Oliveira Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Santarém having to interfere. If Oliveira Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, SC Louroza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Henriques to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Oliveira having to interfere. If Adelino Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Louroza's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
