Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Covao's Gustavo Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, André Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gabriel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Amadeu Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Andrade struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Amadeu Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peneda. After 29th play minutes Emanuel Vale shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Amadeu Alves and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Peneda getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Emanuel Vale hit a great ball. Gabriel Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Alves having to interfere. Amadeu Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vale in the 37th minute of the match. Covao's Gustavo Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Covao's Gustavo Alves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Covao's Sérgio Veiga suffered a concussion in the 64th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Gil Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Carlos Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Covao's Catarino Branco got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Amadeu Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Emanuel Vale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeu Alves, 1-2. Gabriel Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Alves having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Amadeu Alves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Covao's Amadeu Alves got control of the ball when Gabriel Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diogo Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Covao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peneda's performance. The match ended with a win for Peneda.
