Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Armindo Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cláudio Neves. SC Varges's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Varges's Delfim Lopes got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Guardal FC's Manuel Gomes got control of the ball when Alexandre Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Alexandre Sousa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Augusto Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cláudio Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gomes having to interfere. Nuno Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Neves having to interfere. Cláudio Neves came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Guardal FC's Augusto Ramos. But to his dismay, Augusto Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Manuel Gomes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alexandre Sousa sent off a good shot on target. If Diamantino Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Alexandre Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute SC Varges were awarded a corner. Humberto Morais went to the cornerflag to take it. If Augusto Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, one of SC Varges:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Guardal FC a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sandro Cardoso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Varges's Cláudio Neves. 0-2.

Augusto Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes SC Varges got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Lopes. 60 minutes in the game, Augusto Ramos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cláudio Neves having to interfere. Diamantino Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gomes having to interfere. Manuel Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Borges in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Delfim Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Neves having to interfere. Jorge Lima struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cláudio Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardal FC. Guardal FC's Augusto Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Guardal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Ramos to maneuver through the defense. If Diamantino Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Borges in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Guardal FC's Gaspar Faro got a free kick in the 86th minute. The SC Varges supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guardal FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guardal FC.
