Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Afonso Gaspar made the kick off which started today's match. Jaime Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Ramos in the 3rd minute of play. Alexandre Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Miguel Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guardal FC's zone, Afonso Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Gomes came out of the goal and Afonso Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Henrique Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Afonso Gaspar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Gomes. Afonso Gaspar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Manuel Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Gaspar in the 26th minute of the match. Nuno Lima struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jaime Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardal FC. Guardal FC's Augusto Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Guardal FC's Júlio Teixeira got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guardal FC's zone, Miguel Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Gomes came out of the goal and Miguel Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Gaspar in the 40th minute of the match. Miguel Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gomes having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Ramos made a kick off. Afonso Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Manuel Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miguel Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Raquel FC's Cristiano Cabral couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guardal FC. In the 63rd minute Afonso Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Henrique Morais fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raquel FC's protests and gave Henrique Morais a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Raquel FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Henrique Morais hit a great ball. The long shot by Sandro Cardoso in the 67th minute really tested Jaime Pinheiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jaime Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Lima went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Nuno Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Raquel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Veiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raquel FC's goalkeeper Jaime Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Joel Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Pinheiro was a little too slow when Augusto Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-2. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Augusto Ramos took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jaime Pinheiro to make any attempt to save it. Although Raquel FC had been in control for most of the match, Guardal FC still came away with the win.
