If Álvaro Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Sousa's late challenge caught a Larangeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Parizes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jorge Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Pedro Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Larangeira FC's David Barros got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Eusébio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parizes FC's Duarte Sousa got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Duarte Sousa off the ground. Jorge Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Reis in the 32nd minute of play. Jorge Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Rui Assunção made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Antunes in the 37th minute. Álvaro Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rui Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Parizes FC's Rui Assunção got control of the ball when Álvaro Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Marques in the 47th minute of play forced Parizes FC's goalkeeper Rui Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 54 minutes, Eusébio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larangeira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Larangeira FC's goalkeeper Jorge Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Reis. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Álvaro Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larangeira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Assunção breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Parizes FC's Rui Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Marques in the 64th minute of play. Emanuel Mendes's late challenge caught a Larangeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Parizes FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Larangeira FC. Filipe Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rui Assunção. 1-0. Bruno Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Leão having to interfere. If Eusébio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Azevedo, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Parizes FC's zone, Eusébio Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Assunção came out of the goal and Eusébio Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Marques struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Rui Assunção didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larangeira FC. If Eusébio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Larangeira FC had won after a very even match.
